We exist to help local churches sing biblically faithful songs with theological clarity, doctrinal precision, and no strings attached.
In a time when much of modern worship music has been co-opted by commercial interests, emotional manipulation, and doctrinal vagueness, we provide an alternative: Christ-centered, anonymous, and uncompromised praise — entirely free for church use.
The Problem With the Praise Industry
Mainstream worship movements — including Hillsong, Bethel, Elevation, and Passion — have turned praise music into a spiritual commodity.
These movements make millions by writing songs that avoid theological clarity in order to appeal to the widest possible audience. The result?
- Lyrics that mean everything and nothing — allowing worshipers to project subjective experience onto a spiritual blank canvas.
- Emotionally manipulative repetition — music designed to stir up feelings, not engage minds.
- Theological confusion — songs that prioritize personal atmosphere over biblical truth.
This is not faithful worship. It’s consumer spirituality.
Why We Don’t Name Artists
You won’t find any celebrity musicians or worship bands here.
Every song on Free Church Songs is anonymous — and that’s intentional.
Worship should draw attention to Christ, not the performer.
Naming artists, churches, or movements often leads to uncritical platforming of theological error and cults of personality. We believe music for the gathered church should focus on the message, not the messenger.
The Value of Theological Clarity
Our songs are not vague. They are written with clear doctrinal intent, grounded in Scripture, and meant to form the minds and hearts of believers in truth.
Like the Psalms and the hymns of old, our music is crafted to:
