Welcome to freechurchsongs.org. By accessing or using this website, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. Church Use License (Permitted Uses)

All songs, arrangements, lyric sheets, chord charts, lead sheets, and stem tracks on this site are provided under a free license for local church use, including but not limited to:

  • Use in public or private worship services
  • Congregational singing, worship teams, and instrumental accompaniment
  • Printing, projecting, or sharing chord charts, lyrics, or lead sheets
  • Duplication or storage of audio or stem tracks for in-house use
  • Use in live-streamed church services or recordings of worship gatherings
  • Unlimited reproduction for non-commercial church ministry use

✅ No CCLI license is required.
✅ No reporting of song usage is necessary (although please comment on YouTube or social media to encourage other churches to use this music!).

2. Prohibited Uses (Commercial or Unauthorized Reuse)

You may not:

  • Sell or distribute any song, recording, lyric, chart, or stem from this site
  • Create derivative works (rearrangements, remixes, adaptations) for commercial release
  • Include any content from this site in albums, streaming releases, compilations, or products for sale or subscription
  • Upload content from this site to any commercial platform (e.g., Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube for monetization)
  • Publish altered lyrics, chord changes, or arrangements without written permission
  • Use this music in events where ticket sales or commercial recordings are the primary goal

🚫 All commercial use, redistribution, or public recording requires prior written consent from the administrators of freechurchsongs.org.

3. Attribution and Anonymity

Songs are intentionally published without named authors to preserve focus on Christ and Scripture. Given current technology, this may result in suboptimal quality for AI voice replacements and/or stem generation. We are confident this will not present a noticeable issue during your church’s services.
Attribution is not required, but may be added in the interest of referring other churches to this resource.

4. Licensing Philosophy

We reject the commercial licensing models that dominate the worship industry and offer all content here freely, without royalty obligations, to equip churches with biblically faithful, theologically sound worship music.

Our mission is to free the church from dependency on CCLI, SESAC, etc., and other profit-driven worship systems.
